The Sims 2

I've finally got hold of the game after a trip to Law Yat Plaza last weekend. Have been planning to buy it since it came out but had to postponed the thought due to the irresistible lure that I know I can't handle during my study leave. So now, exam's over.. game on!

For those that have enjoyed The Sims, you would know the excitement of the game. Now with the new game the fun is doubled.

Yeah... I know I'm not at the age of going goo-goo-gaa-gaa over a computer game. But, I guess I'm hooked. Thanks to my ex for introducing game to me, way back in my uni years.

At first I was skeptical over the whole thing. It's just a simulation game... with simulated figures in the simulated world, living in a simulated house full of simulated things. But, once I've downloaded it into my notebook.. I just can't seem to stop living in the simulated world. It's way cool.

The game actually explores the player's wants and needs and translated it into The Sims' world. The player can create a character of his choice (with an option of a single character or with families). Then he can start choosing the right spot for the chosen character's house. Constructing the house is by far my favorite part of the game. Always wanted to see how your dream home looks like in 3-D? Check the game out.

Plus.. If you ever need a stress reliever, try playing the game. When going through my break-up, I've created a character that resembles my ex (no I'm was not 'gila bayang'). Oh how I've enjoyed every moment of torture that the character had gone through.. hahaha.. What did I do? Oh.. nothing fancy.. Just built a small swimming pool and instructed the character to swim before getting rid of the ladder *wink*.. It was pure joy watching the guy swimming round and round the pool looking for the ladder and screaming for help.. (eh.. I'm not a psycho.. but the situation beckons for a revenge and I chose the simulation way..).

So.. to my friends, if I don't come to work or make excuses not to go out with you guys.. you know where to find me.. *wink wink*
