Dinner with Bread & Butter
Before going for our wi-fi quest, me & my wi-fi buddy decided to fill our tummy 1st @ my fav sandwich bar. However, a simple request of a vege-less triple decker chicken & turkey bacon sandwich had caused the whole restaurant crew puzzled.
Crew #1: Ah...? Are you sure you don't want vege in your sandwich? Not even some coleslaw?
Me: Yes.... I'm sure
After exchanging thoughts
Crew #2: Excuse me Miss.. Just want to confirm your order.. You ordered a .....sandwich but without vege, right?
Me: Yeah...
Crew #1 & 2: exchanging funny smiles and funny faces
Then from my back I could hear laughter (obviously it was my buddy laughing his hearts out)... Dang! And that had caused the entire crew to laugh... Why laa you have to laugh in front of them? Wait until we were seated outside.. lepas tuh nak gelak.. gelak laa... haiyoooo...
Wi-fi @ Starbucks
After a very long dinner, we headed to our fav coffee shop to surf the net. The ultimate mission for the night was to help my buddy to find out what happened to his "trackback" link for his Halo-scan comments. So we spent an hour comparing out html templates (well... we're mere beginners.. still crawling our way to learn the codes) over a mocha coffee and cafe latte.. After a few kicks in the shin.. he finally fixed the problem (thank god) if not for sure we'll be stuck there for hours.
Escaped Reindeer
After my rendezvous at Starbucks, I went straight to my cousin's house to meet her. She just came back (unplanned) from Japan (she's taking an engineering degree there).. As usual, her mom had cooked tasty food (nasi kerabu & laksa johor)... My fav. laksa johor.. yummy..
Then, my lil' sis called to asked us to teman her to go fetch our niece @ Uniten (the poor girl has been planning to spend the weekend alone.. haih..). So, off we went, cruising the streets of KL @ 12am.. talking at the top of our lungs to be heard over the loud club music..catching up on the latest family gossips.. And my dear cousin, being the joker that she is, had wore a free red reindeer's ear that my sis got from Hartamas Square. That was not the worse part... The worse part is when she tried to scare people in other cars by plastering her chubby face at the window.. It was so damn funny yet embarrassing... Imagine how I felt, driving a car with a mad reindeer in it.. *lol*
However, it was truly a good start for a very long weekend. Tomorrow we're off to One Utama to shop till we drop.
