Binx's version of "What to expect when you are expecting" - Part I

First 4 weeks

You might not realise that you are already pregnant at this point of time.  Hence, go about doing your daily routine as usual. If you are a coffee addict like yours truly, load up on your caffeine intake as much as you can!  As soon as you know that you are pregnant, you might feel guilty to indulge further. :p

Week 5 - 12

This is when the emotional (and hormonal) rollercoaster begins.

You might get a dose of the morning sickness by this time.  The queasy nauseous feeling constantly lingering at the back of your throat.  Constant trip to the loo is expected.

Try to eat small portion of meal even if you don't feel like you can swallow anything without throwing up.  Plain toast or dry crackers might be your only meal during these trying times.  It's ok, as long as you ARE eating.  Oh yeah, H2O is essential too.  Failing to drink, might cause you to end up in the emergency ward, hooked-up to the IV tube for hours or even days!  Trust me, you wouldn't want to be stuck in the hospital just to get hydrated.

You might feel tired most of the time during these few weeks.  Constant nap and good night sleep is very very essential.  If your partner's snores keeps you up at night, try to persuade him to sleep on the couch for at least during the week, so that you can have a good night rest to last you throughout the working day.

When the stick turns positive!

Take a double look.... and redo the test again!

If you are still unsatisfied, go to the nearest GP and ask for an HcG test.

If it still says positive, then just sit back and wait for the nausea to kick-in!

Mr Judge left for Umrah last weekend.  It was his first trip away from home since Noah was born.  Unlike me, who had to abandon my 6 months old baby for a 5day business trip to Istanbul, Mr Judge had stuck around the house for the past 26 months.

Noah was all teary eyed when he saw his daddy off at the airport.  Being the drama king that he is, he even screamed "Daddy........!" with arms stretched out when he saw Mr Judge went down the escalator at the International Departure Hall.  When asked where is his daddy going, his only answer was, "Daddy go work... Allahhuakhbar" (siap with the hand up covering the ears - macam orang tengah azan)...

I thought Noah will be OK with his Daddy being away, since his Mummy is still around... However, I was dead wrong!  The first night, he woke up twice looking for his Daddy.  He even went out of the room into the hall searching for his Daddy... "Daddy, where are you!".  Sedih jugak tengok....

I actually took 2 days off work to spend time with my lil boy.  Thought of taking him to his favourite playland @ the Curve.  However, things didn't go exactly as planned and we only stayed at home.  I guessed he didn't mind it one bit as he had his Mummy all to himself for 2 whole days...

The moment he opened his eyes in the morning, he will be beaming from ear to ear and greeting me good morning and showering me with kisses.  And he will not stop beaming with joy throughout the 2 days... He will go.. "Mummy.....!" and hugged and kissed me... I guess it is true when they say that kids don't really need presents, all they need are your presence... I felt truly loved!  If only it can be a permanent arrangement for me not to go to work kan......


Today, Mummy is back at work.... However, she left her heart and soul back at home.... *sigh*

OMG....!  It's been ages since I have updated this space.


Yes, I am still alive. 
No, I was not that busy until I've neglected this blog...
Just that I didn't know how to continue to write like I used to.


However, I am back....
Refreshed...
Reenergized....
and ready to start again.

I am welcoming 2012 with a positive spirit...
Insyaallah will be starting a new venture with Mr. Judge and my mom soon.
Do pray that what we are pursuing going to be a reality.
