Confession of a heavy & fat momma

I have reached another pregnancy milestone this week... 36 weeks and counting!

9 months...

The baby currently weights 2.7 kg and I have gained 16 kgs since I got pregnant.

Sleeping comfortably is really a challenge now. It hurts every time I change positions to get comfortable. Don't get me started on the pain of getting out of bed. Nowadays, it takes me almost 15 minutes to actually get myself up and out of bed!

I now walk like I'm wearing a huge sack of potato over me. Even my lil' sis calls me 'cik peng' (short for 'cik penguin') because of the way I walk.

My belly now matches the size of Mr Judge's belly. Only mine is solid and his is all wiggly and soft.... hehehe... We can now do the belly-5 (bumping the bellys together like high-5'ing)!

For those who have seen my 'ranting-like' fingers before, you'll be surprise to see that they are now starting to fatten up. I can no longer fit into all the rings, except for the wedding ring, which was bigger than the rest to begin with. Even my wrist watch now is starting to feel tight and threatening to eat up on my flesh soon.

I really can't wait for the baby to come out, so that things can go back to normal. However, I really hope that it would not be so soon because the new place is still not ready. We need at least another 2 weeks before we can move in.

Should there be no update til after the delivery, do pray for me to have a safe and comfortable birth ya. Insyaallah....

HypnoBirthing

HypnoBirthing is a unique method of relaxed natural childbirth education. When I first stumbled upon an article on HypnoBirthing, I was really intrigued and was really keen to find out more.

After googling it, I've found out that HypnoBirthing was already practised in Malaysia for the past 5 yeears!

I didn't waste any time and had signed up for a class... I really think that it was worth investing money for the class and eliminate all the medical fees that you have to pay for all the modern interventions that they have now.

And so we went for an intensive 2 day course last week. The instructor was very friendly and helpful in teaching us on the hypnosis method that are used in HypnoBirthing. She even gave few tutorials on how you can hypnotise yourself into concentrating on relaxing instead of the labour pain.

It was really cool!

What was not cool was Mr Judge actually fell asleep during most of the hypnosis sessions... hahaha! Seriously, siap berdengkur ok....

*sigh*

I guess I cannot rely on him to read me the hypnosis script in the labour room when the time comes... Nanti dia yang fall asleep.
