My so-called weekend...

Said goodbye to Lil' Sis early Saturday morning. Her one and a half month holiday was up and it was time for her to gear up for another so-called tough semester in Perth. Just hope that this time around things will be easier for her with her ex so-called housemate out of her hair.

We took a slight detour on our way back from KLIA to have a taste of the so-called famous Nasi Lemak Cikgu in Kelana Jaya. However, I was tad disappointed to say that I've tasted yummier nasi lemak then that. I guess the owner was too hyped out about the so-called famous name and publicity to maintain the quality of nasi lemak he serves. That's usually the case of these so-called famous eating outlets nowadays. After all the media hu-ha, the food served becomes tasteless, served in a sloppy manner against a very high price. Sad...

After finally getting my car to the car wash for its so-called once-every-two-months wash, I managed to get myself into bed again for a long awaited blissful nap. And I tell you, it was heavenly. At last, a weekend in bed. No unbalanced cashflows, no problematic group consol accounts, just some cheques to go through, which can be done on Monday. Just what I needed to recharge my battery after the so-called 3 hectic weeks at work.

Spent my Saturday night glued to the idiot box, watching the AF concert. Yeah, I do watch AF.. No, not because of the so-called famous Mawi. Even though he has a very sexy head (I have the head-fetish *lol*), I was more interested to see Amylea performs. And her performance was indeed a superb one. Was glad when Aznil announced that she managed to secure a place in the so-called final concert. Go go Amylea...!!

After getting some shut eye at about 2.00 a.m. (went through the lecture notes for today's lecture), I was already up and about by 8.00 a.m. on a Sunday morning. Oh well, a girl can't have it all.. enough lazing around yesterday. Hence, by 10.00 a.m. I was already in class, all geared up (with enough stock of chocolates and mentos) for a so-called 6-hours lecture, which went OK. I spent half of the time in class noticing that the lecturer kept saying "so-called" in an average of once in every 2 to 3 sentences (25 times in 30 minutes - yeah I actually counted). It was actually driving me crazy (hence the occasional "so-called" phrases in this post)... I can't help but to notice the disturbing phrase every single time it pops out of her mouth. Just like another lecturer I had 2 semesters ago that just love to say "Do you follow?" (in a deep voice) at the end of every single sentence! It just drives me crazy, I tell you...

Caught the so-called Hungarian GP tonight and was all fired up to see a McLaren 1-2 finish this time around. At first it all looked like the so-called pit stop strategy was working out well for Abg Toya. And he was leading when the drive shaft failure happened. What a disappointing moment for Abg Toya to have to retire halfway through the race. The McLaren's so-called nightmare that had stolen Kimi's so-called dream of securing the race last week had continued to haunt them. I just hope that they'll try to resolve what ever problem they have during the next 3 weeks before the next race so that Kimi can charged up to the checkered flag few more times ahead of Alonso to secure the so-called Championship title for 2005. Can it be done? I sure do hope so.

So, that was how I spent my so-called weekend. How was yours?

Have a so-called good week ahead yeah...

binx: time to rest my so-called body after a long so-called day...
