Finally, after searching high and low for tickets, we managed to catch the much-talked-about theater production - Puteri Gunung Ledang, The Musical tonight (Monday). And it was superb!Despite the fact that our seats were 3-tiers up from the stage, we still managed to feel the stage presence of the fantastic casts. And the board with English subtitles actually helped us understand the song that was sang by the large group of extras. Mind you, the translation was done extremely well that it didn't lose the symbolic meaning of what was being said in Bahasa Melayu.
Playing for a full house tonight, the casts had received a standing ovation from the crowd, mostly cheering for the main cast, namely Tiara, Adlin Aman Ramli & A.C Mizal (yes Ejan... I know he's great :p ).. My hands were numb after clapping so hard through out the show...
Ok lah.. enough raving about the play for the night. Tuan Puteri shall beradu now.. being lulled into sleep listening to the soundtrack of the play...

I nearly cried when the Puteri and hang Tuah were singing on that bukit.
hmmm, wanted to get tickets for the musical but sadly we couldn't find a suitable time (my friends & I). so had to give it a miss. glad you enjoyed it!
u got yrself a better seat than mine. i had neckpain looking up to the subtitle and e'time i looked up, i missed the act on the stage.

yeah.. getting tickets were tough.. the person who booked the tickets for us still had to que up the next day frm 9am to collect it..
it was really a welcome break after a hard day in the office..
