Received a call from Mom at 4.50 pm...
Mom: Binx! What time are you coming back today?
Binx: I'm not sure.. I might be late.. Why?
Mom: Your cat had poo poo'ed in front of the door!
Binx: Oh my! Who closed the toilet door?
Mom: I dunno.. Please come home immediately and clean it up!
Binx: But I have lots to finish up here..
Mom: I don't care.. Come home and clean it up!
Instruction from Zorro at 5.00 pm..
Zorro: Binx, we are going to do the 'call over' tonight!
Binx: But I have to rush back now.. (explain)
Zorro: I don't care.. We have lots to do tonight..
Binx: But.. but..
Zorro: Dah laa semalam balik awal coz sakit..
Zorro: No.. you are not going anywhere!
Binx: Tell you what.. Let me rush back now and clean it up
Binx: Then rush back here and we do the 'call over'.. ok?
Zorro: isk.... OK laaa... hurry up!
Suddenly the Auditor came over...
Auditor: Binx, can I go through with you some of the queries on the consol accounts?
Binx: Now?
Auditor: Yeah... it will only take a minute..
Binx: Ok sure..
yada.. yada.. yada.. yada.. ding.. dong..
(Time: 6.45 pm)
Binx: Tell you what.. can we continue this tomorrow.. I really have to rush
Auditor: Oh.. ok sure..
Half way through my journey, while stuck in the traffic jam, I decided to call Mom..
(Time: 7.10 pm)
Binx: Ma.. ada food tak tak rumah?
Mom: Takde.. why?
Binx: I'm on my way back.. but after cleaning to thing..I have to rush back to the office..
Mom: What?
Binx: Yeah laa.. You yang suruh I rush balik..
Mom: Well, the mess was already cleaned...
Binx: WHAT?!!!!
Binx: After all that I've gone through, the least you can do is call me, Ma...!
Luckily there was a U-turn nearby... Hence, I drove myself back to the office, after making a pit-stop at Insaf Nasi Beriyani (kempunan la pulak tetiba), and did the 'call over' with Zorro...
Instruction from Beast at around 12.30 am
Beast: Binx have you finished the new petrol station's property lists?
Binx: Erm.. I've finished doing the cut-off on the hardcopy..
Binx: I just need to amend the softcopy after this 'call-over'..
Beast: Why didn't you do it first? Then while the production people work on it, you can do the 'call over'!
Binx: But Zorro wanted to do the call over first...
Beast: I don't know how you people work laa... Wasting time..!
Beast: Go do it now.. and make sure you e-mail it to them tonight!
Beast: The Board meeting is at 11 am tomorrow you know.. We don't have much time..
Binx: Ok... sure...
*sigh*
It is now 2 am, and I just arrived home.. I still have a few more things to settle before I can hit the pillow...
*sigh*
If only I could clone myself... Then only the real BINX can sleep peacefully...
binx: I'm tired!
