After another non-weekend weekend, I found myself down again today!
This time is due to a chronic gastric. The doc even had to give me a steroid injection (now my butt is sore) as a pain killer...
I am tired now, after how many thousand times of vomiting (ok I'm exaggerating there - 15 times only). And since the attack only occurred at around 3'ish, I didn't get an MC.. Furthermore, the garang doc didn't even give me an MC for tomorrow! Arrgghh...
One thing that happened today made me realised that all the work that I am currently doing is all not worth getting sick over... Uncle Dan asked me again, for the 5th time, to reconsider my resignation. He said, "Don't you find your work here EXCITING?!".. Exciting? Working on a weekend till 1 a.m after putting in more than 12 hours every single day during the week is exciting? I don't think so.. Hence, I've deduced that he doesn't want to let me go because it is hard for him to find someone to replace me.. I never complaint about the long hours that I've put in. I never demanded for overtime allowance.. I never made any noise on the load of work that they have piled on me.. I bet any other person would have quit after just a month in my current position.
Oh well, now I need to get some rest. For the 1st time in how many weeks, I am NOT going to stay up late to finish up my work, though I've brought back 3 pending work that I have to resolve before tomorrow morning.. All I can say now is... my HEALTH is much more important than all those reports!

Note: Congrats to Jigga, who is now a full fledge ACCA holder.. Way to go dude! And also to Syam for passing all her papers... Soon my time will come!

Being committed is good. But you must also be realistic..
