Things People Do in the Car

(esp. in the morning... while caught in traffic)

• read the morning news
• drink coffee
• pick their nose (I see a lot of nose picking Ah Bengs on the road everyday...)
• laugh along with the DJs during the morning radio show.. (my fav guys JJ & Rudy never fail to do so every morning...)
• do their make-up (that'll be me.... i'm a pro at it now.. why waste 10 mins at home when you can do it while on the move.. you'll reach the office faster that way...)
• check out other drivers (actually caught a guy checking me out yesterday.. hahaha.. it's a fav. pastime of mine.. )
• strap their sandals while waiting at the red light (guess who does this *winks*)
• eat their breakfast
• adjust their clothing (not in the Mr. Bean kinda way)
• crack a joke to cheer their 'im-so-tensed-cause-im-late-for-work' partners

Mrs. X: yang.. you nak dengar joke tak?
Mr. X: huh? joke? hmmmmmmm................. apa? (not happy)
Mrs. X: binatang apa yg ada telur kat leher?
Mr. X: huh? hmmmmmmmmm.......... ntah laa (still not happy)
Mrs. X: kuda kepang.. *lol*
Mr. X: huh? what? (didn't get it) (still not happy)
Mrs. X: you nieh slow laa.... nak dgr lagi tak?
Mr. X: hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... apa? (straight face)
Mrs. X: binatang apa yg ada byk telur?
Mr. X: huh? hmmmmmmmmm..... ntah... what?
Mrs. X: the chinese new year dancing dragon.. *lol*
Mr. X: hmmmm.... (still straight-face) (and still not happy)
Mrs. X: eeiiii... boring laa cakap ngan you nieh.. macam cakap ngan dinding... !!!
