What's with tomorrow that everyone wants to schedule something on that day?
Event 1: Last Monday
VP of the department: Hey binx. So how are you fairing now?
Binx: Hey VP. I'm ok. Am slowly learning the ropes of the process.
VP: Oh yeah? That's great!
VP: I want to schedule a one-to-one session with you next week.
VP: What time do you usually take your dinner?
Binx: Ermm.. around 8pm.
VP: Alright then. So I see you on Tuesday @ 8pm ya.
VP: I would like to discuss about your progress and also talk more about your background.
Binx: Alright.
I wonder what is it that he wants to discuss about. Maybe he wants to increase my 'very the ciput' salary since he just found out that I'm a part-qualified charted accountant. Or maybe he wants to promote me to a much-deserving senior position. (Perasannyaaaaa). Oh well... What ever it is, I can't wait!
Event 2: Last Wednesday
An email from the Assistant Manager (My boss)
"Guys, take note that the weekly meeting is going to be held next Tuesday at 6 pm. Please update all relevant issues to be discussed at the meeting."
Event 3: Last Thursday
The long awaited call finally arrived!
Lady on the phone: Hello, can I speak to Cik Binx please?
Binx: Yes, this is Binx speaking.
Lady: Hi, I'm calling from Tiger Company.
Binx: Oh ok... Hi!
Lady: I call to inform you that my boss had received your resume
Lady: and would like to schedule for an informal interview.
Lady: Well, it's more like a casual chat session to get to know you better.
Binx: Alright...
Lady: So would Tuesday 10 am be alright with you?
Binx: Sure, no problem.
Yahoo...! An interview! I sooo want that job! Now, all I need to do is to refresh my memory on all the financial ratios and tools. Wish me luck!
Event 4: Yesterday
Sms conversation with a very old friend
Friend: Hey girl! Long time never heard from you. How've you been?
Binx: Hey! I'm alright. What's up?
Friend: Wanna meet up next week? It's been ages since we last seen each other.
Binx: Sure. When?
Friend: How bout Tuesday for dinner?
Binx: Ermm.. I'm sorry I can't make it on that day.
Binx: How bout the weekends instead?
Friend: Ok sure!
What' with Tuesday, the 10th of July 2007?
What do you have scheduled for tomorrow?
binx: nervous giler!
