No Work Weekend....

I was planning to finish up my work over the weekend.. However, I ended up...


1. Staying up late on Friday nite, catching up with Lil Sis. She's back for the holiday and didn't stop talking since she set foot in my car when we picked her up at the airport. The girl kept on talking all the way through her supper, which was what she ordered even 2 days before she got back - cheese nan and chicken tandoori. We thought that 3 hours of talking was enough for her.. but instead she continued yapping away up until 3.30 am.... I ended up sleeping at almost 4 am that Saturday morning.

2. Sleeping at 12 pm on a Saturday afternoon. Woke up early that morning because I had promised to go for breakfast with Syam and Nurul at La Bodega, Bangsar. I had to force myself out of bed and put on a cheerful face for breakfast. Luckily the breakfast spread was delicious as usual and the Hot Mocha did a good job at keeping my eyes wide open during the 2 hours catch-up session. However, by the time I reached home and caught a sight of my comfy bed, I just could resist to dive into the duvet and zzzz.... The next thing I knew, it was already 6 pm.

3. In front of the TV for almost 4 hours watching the Akademi Fantasia concert. Yeah.. I've caught the fever. This has been my weekly routine since the 1st season of the show, 2 years back. heheehe...

4. Fixing my notebook's wi-fi connection. The connection doesn't seem to be working since Friday night. Hence, spent the whole Saturday and today trying to figure out what went wrong. I even tried comparing the setting with Mum's notebook's setting just to make sure that everything was in order. Someone even suggested me to give my notebook a little 'jentik'. The desperate Binx did everything that she think was possible to try to make it work, but to no avail. However, after hours of going through the content of the notebook, I found one menu that had managed to solve the problem - system restore. I just pressed the menu and set the system to be restored to the day before the problem started - Thursday... and tadaaaa.. I'm back on the virtual world... Penat aje trying to play around with the tcp/ip setting laa, etc etc..



I had a great weekend without even touching any of the files that I brought back. I know that it will cost me my time during the coming week, but heck it laaa... I am glad that I actually get to spend my time fully with my family and friends.
