That was the motto of the trip last weekend....
Since my sis needed to do some research for work in Penang, I decided to tag along to test out the new camera. Well, there are still a lot of things that I need to learn about the new gadget. Hence, the pictures taken were nothing extraordinary (normal). I guess I have to go for another road trip soon in order to get more practice... (Redang/Perhentian anyone?)

Thanks to our tour guide import and the nature of Sis' research, I got to explore the other side of Penang that I never knew existed. We went round and round (trust me, there were many rounds.. hehehe..) the city and go through the back lanes and main road just to visit all the historical places that Sis needed to cover within the one and a half day trip.

The food... Since I am not a fan of nasi kandar, I don't know how to rate it. However, our tour guide had mentioned that the place that we stopped for lunch serves the best nasi kandar in Penang. Besides nasi kandar, we also had kerang bakar and ABC at Padang Kota. Then for dinner, we went to Brown Park (Padang Brown?) and had char kuey teow, laksa and pasembor.
Wished we could have stayed longer in Penang. There were places to visit and more food to sample. However, that will just have to wait. Maybe next time...
binx: planning another road trip...
