KLMJ

What is KLMJ you may asked? It's an acronym introduced by one of my ex-housemates in uni. It stands for Kenangan Lalu Mengusik Jiwa (karat tak bunyi.. *lol*). Old memories that touches the soul..

Since my movie invitation has no takers, especially from her, I spent my friday night doing grocery shopping at Tesco. I suddenly remembered that we are out of cat food. Cian my poor cats kena makan nasi with ikan kering.

So off I went to Tesco, grabbing everything that I needed plus a few snacks. As I was paying at the counter, I saw a movie poster in front of Speedy Video. It was a talk-around-town movie that I haven't got the chance to watch yet. Emmmm... best jugak kan if can watch tonight.

I've finally watched Sepet last night. Yes yes I know cerita dah basi.. So what?

The movie actually brings back memories of my own "sepet" experience.

I used to go out with a chinese guy during my 1st year of uni. He was my senior back in high school. We were close in school but have lost contact after I went to MRSM. However, I bumped into him again in 98.

However, my experience was not as dramatic as Orked's and Jason's laa. It was just a typical courtship. A forced one actually.. kekeke..

Well, I don't actually fancy the guy. He was just another friend to me. However, after countless times of pushing and persuading by him, we became an item laa... I'm the type that gives in easily when being pushed.. rimasss...

Jamie a.k.a Jazzman is a musician. He plays the keyboard in a band. Hence, most of our time was spent stuck in a jamming studio, watching him practicing his gigs with his band (yawns!). It's either that or I'll end up as his driver, driving him around town to complete his errands. Fun eh.. Not!

That's why the relationship didn't even last long enuf to see the daylight. We broke up a few months after that. However, the break-up did cost me my then- so-canggih walkman that my sis bought for me from Japan. Jamie borrowed it to record the songs that he was composing at that time. Since I broke it off through the phone, I didn't get the chance to collect the walkman from him. He too made promises that he'll returned it back, but until today pun tak nampak his not-mancung-at-all batang hidung.

The last time I saw him was a few years back, in the newspaper. The was an advert of a piano performance in Pan Pacific, KL - and Jamie was the pianist. Was so tempted to go and watch it. However, life goes on and I was not really keen to revisit that particular path in my life.

OK... enough of my pathetic story...

Back to Sepet the movie.. I love Jason's last letter.. wish someone would write those beautiful words for me too... (ahhh... melt.. melt..)

Anyone wanna watch the indon movie with me?
