Out of Reach

This is one of my old time fav song....

Out of Reach - Gabrielle

Knew the signs wasn't right
I was stupid for a while
Swept away by you
And now i feel like a fool
So confused,my hearts brused
Was i ever loved by you?

Out of reach, so far
I never had your heart
Out of reach,couldn't see
We were never meant to be

Catch myself from despair
I could drown if i stay here
Keeping busy everyday
I know i will be ok

But i was so confused,
My hearts brused
Was i ever loved by you?

Out of reach, so far
i never had your heart
Out of reach, couldn't see
We were never meant to be

So much hurt, so much pain
Takes A while to regain
What is lost, inside
And i hope that in time
you'll be out of my mind
And i'll be over you

But now i'm so confused,
My hearts brused
Was i ever loved by you?

Out of reach, so far
I never had your heart
Out of reach, couldn't see
We were never meant to be

Out of reach, so far
you never gave your heart
In my reach, i can see
Theres a life out there
For me....

A Refreshing Weekend

A weekend kick-off

Went to see Misha Omar’s performance last Friday with Mrs. Wacko & hubby and the newly wed couple. It was truly a superb performance by the singer. She sang some medleys from her albums plus Anuar Zain’sBila Resah” and Lee Ann Rhime’s Can’t Fight the Moonlight”. The crowd went wild after she finished the haunted song, “Pulangkan”, the soundtrack from the Pontianak Harum Sundal Malam movie. There’s no doubt that this girl can go far in the industry with her powerful voice and great personality. In the words of Mrs. Wacko’s hubby.. “She truly is an elegant singer”

Kudos to Amir for the free passes.

A Serine Saturday

I’ve been having insomnia for the past 2 weeks due to putting up late hours to finish up work. Hence, my sleeping time had gone all haywire. I didn’t sleep a wink on Friday night and had to accompany Lil’ Sis to the immigration office and IDP Australia the next morning to settle her passport and visa application (she’s going to Perth mid Feb to continue her degree in interior architechture). However, I managed to sleep in the car while waiting for her at the immigration office (you know how slow the government services can be rite.. hence I managed to sleep for almost 2 hrs..).

I managed to squeeze in another 2 hours of sleep after lunch before going for a spa session (a gift from Ejan). It was at Serenity Spa in Shah Alam. The treat was a welcome after a very hectic month full of activities.

The place was great. As I stepped in, I was greeted by the peaceful sound of Balinese music. It had injected the Balinese ambiance to the whole Balinese setting of the spa. The 1st impression of the spa was great but it cannot top the whole rejuvenating treatment that I received.

We started off with the steam/sauna sessions, which was for 20 mins. Since we were put in a body cast, only the body part was exposed to the heat, thus eliminates the stuffiness and breathing difficulty that you usually get in a normal sauna room. It was a great 20 mins of sweat releasing session.

Next was the massaging session. Ahhhhhhhhh…… what else can I say about it.. My body had been longing to be pampered. The massage had awakened every muscle in my body that had been aching from my daily routine. It was heavenly.. except for the neck cracking part though. The girl actually positioned herself in way as if she’s trying to strangle my neck, with one hand cupping my chin and the other grabbing firm hold of my hair. With a few swings from left to right (“Jangan keras kan leher ye dik… relax..") then a hard swing to the right.. and “crackkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk……”… ouwch…… After than came another hard swing to the left.. and another “crackkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk……”… and another ouwch…… However, the relieved feeling after that was great…. No more stiff neck.. (2 thumbs up for the masseuses)

After that, came the lulur session and then finally we were asked to soak in a milk bath. It was indeed a serine treat. Thanks for the great gift Jan… Love ya lots *muaaaaaaaahssss*

A trip to Petaling Street

After the spa session, Mrs. Wacko & hubby and I went to Petaling Street to get myself a document bag. Since I’ve been bringing back work, I need to get myself a good sturdy bag that can load all the papers and files I needed. And a good bag at KLCC will cost me how many hundred buckaroos…. No way am I gonna spent that much now.. Perhaps after I’ve get my Accountant title I’ll get myself a Braun Buffel bag or something laa kan.. but not now laa.. Plus I’ve burst my budget for January and am cutting on my expenses for February.

Anyway, the last time I’ve been to Petaling Street was almost a year ago with Mr. e-d, during our chocolate hunt. So yesterday’s trip was quite disappointing for me coz I found the area to be a bit dirty. Rubbish were scattered everywhere. It was a dirty sight… However, that didn’t stop the buyers to roam the busy street bargaining for good deals to get their hands on imitation items..

Relaxing Sunday

Woke up in a daze… Slept like a baby last night. The massage was really helpful laaa..

Mum gave me a facial today… Tetiba ja Mum was all chirpy today.. Very happy indeed.. maybe due to the calls that she has been receiving all day (investors calling to top up their investment).. The facial was great… left my face feeling all clean and fresh. Mum promised me another session same time next week… yeay!

It has been a great weekend for me… Looking forward to a good week ahead too.. Plus.. my new boots is on its way back to Malaysia (another yeay!)

Violet - a shy poem

Violet's inviolate

The waiting game

After almost 2 months of honeymooning... now the dreaded day has arrive.. bearing the key to my future. Waiting for the dreaded email now.. Maybe those UK people decided to release it a wee bit early ke kan...

Need to at least clear one paper this time around. At least then Uncle Danwill see the effort I've put into the whole ordeal. It for sure was not easy juggling work and study at one time (ask the people that know me personally.. I was studying every single freaking weekend - no wonder I don't have a life). Working by day (8.30am - 5.00pm) and studying by night (6.30pm - 9.30pm) was never easy. Plus, it really is stressful when you have to deal with so many things all at once (e.g. datelines, submission, class assignments, group discissions and etc.). When can you stop to take a breather? Almost never...

The new semester has begun.. and after I've finally get my results, my honeymoon period will be officially over.. It'll be tougher this time around for I won't be taking any classes. Hence, will just have to discipline myself to study smart. My workload is not getting any lighter and the subjects that I hope I will be taking will not be an easy one for sure. One thing that I am sure of is that I have to hide my laptop or keep it away during those crucial period for I surely can't resist the temptation to read all my fav. blogs.

If I don't clear both my papers, do pray for me.. cause I'll have to go and face Uncle Dan tomorrow to give him the bad news.. It will not be an interesting sight. On the other hand, if I pass.. I'll be the happiest girl in the building tomorrow...

The reasons behind it....

While driving back home from work, I was bullied by an idiotic driver. The car behind me kept pushing forward, amidst the heavy KL traffic. How fast can we go at that rate..? 60-80 kmph can be considered fast enough during the peak hours. But nooo.... this guy was pushing his car like he's on the F1 track.. Kiasu man..

Then I remembered what the trainer for the "7 Habits for Highly Effective People" course that I've attended last year said... "People do things, even carzy or stupid things, for a reason"

Hence, I've tried rationalised some of the reasons why certain people do certain things.... in this case the particular idiotic driver (habit #? - always think positive thoughts)

  • he may be rushing to do the #1 (poo poo business)... the dire need to relieve himself made him push the car to the max, regardless of how the traffic condition was.. when you gotta go.. you'd gotta go..
  • his late for a date.. and since he's been late for the past few dates his partner had told him that if he can't make it on time this time around he'll face cetain consequences..
  • he just received a bad news that his wife/kid had been in an accident and was rushing to be by their side...
  • his relatives from kampung are in town and are all waiting for him in front of his house (no one at home..) hence, he's not gonna let them wait for long..
Well, I've opted for the 1st reason and felt much better while handling the situation at hand.. Kesian cik abang nieh... needed to poo poo rupanya... go now.. go fast... you don't want to pollute your car do you..? *lol rotf*

A visit down memory lane...

We've talked for hours. From night till dawn, and from dawn till night. And what did we talked about? It didn't matter during those days... What matters was just listening to each other's voice. Listening to you plucking the guitar to my favourite tunes. Listening to you cracking up stupid jokes just to cheer me up. In deed it was not so surprising that I fell for you even though I tried my damned best to remain nonchalant. I didn't really know how you felt at that time, and was too afraid to ask. Afraid that it will spoil everything. Spoil the fairytale fun that we've created.

However, the charade that we've played didn't last long to see the daylight. It was interrupted by my confusion in the midst of the domestic war that had erupted. Hence, I've shut you out of my life.. so afraid of getting hurt again by a person that I care for. I realised that it was stupid of me to cut off all communication with you.. Sorry that I left you out in the dark. However, what was a helpless damsel suppose to do at time of distress.. Besides having to console other people in my life, I didn't have time to think about my own heart, my happiness. Family comes first.

Thus, our brief meeting today had brought back lots of memories.. I dare not look you in the eye, afraid of the emotions that will be naked in my eye (thank god you were wearing sunglasses *winks*). I know the moments had passed and I don't bare any romantic feelings towards you no more, but the thought of seeing you for the last time before you become someone else's husband was quite sad. And the thought that, after all these years, we still didn't even reveal our feelings for each other back then openly.

Your probing questions made me realised that that was the moment that I needed. I would just seize the day and just tell you how I felt back then. Despite the fact that I spent the whole time kicking myself under the table and blushing like mad, deep down I felt good. I know that I caught you by surprise with the revelation and was relieved that you took it well. I was expecting you to pack up and leave.. but you decided to talk about it. I should say that it was very mature of us to reminisce about those old times openly and not linger on it any longer. What you've said made me realised that I've wasted so many chances and opportunities to be happy. Thanks to you and the rest for kicking some senses into this "stone head" of mine. Yes, I've learnt my lessons.. and I would not let go of another opportunity to tell someone how I really feel.

And to you... Thanks for the memories.. It'll always stay close to my heart.. Promise that I will never dwell on it (no more what if questions.. yes..). Now you go ahead and be a loving husband to one lucky woman.

Raya Weekend.....

Pre-Raya Preparation (Thursay night)

As usual, as a festive season approaches, there would be some minor re-decorations in the house - just to keep us in the festive mood. Hence, furniture were moved - sofas was re-arranged; tables were moved from corner to center, center to corner; you get the idea. Since there's a professional interior person in the house, the rest of us just followed orders.. and was amazed with the result.. Kudos to Lil' Sis...

Hari Raya Korban

The day began with me spending every five minutes in the toilet. Woke up with an overloaded bladder and had a very excruciating moment trying to relieve myself. Was really in pain that I missed the raya prayers. And the worse part was I found blood in my urine!!!! Sakit................. I've learnt my lesson.. always go to the toilet before going to bed...

After I've managed to tahan the pain, went straight to the kitchen to find maid standing clueless.... Kenapa laa minah nieh.. confuse semacam aje.... "Ja, macam mana nak masak sayur lodeh? Emma tak sempat nak tanya Mama tadi..." Hmmm... hampeh btul.. Hence, had to coach her on how to cut all the ingredients up.. Luckily Mom came back from the mosque just in time to start the fire.. So, she took over the cooking task so I can sit down and groan with pain..

The pain lasted till evening.. Hence, what was I to do the whole days except meddling with the net.. Decided to play around with the blog's template... Hence the newly improved (i hope) look...

Lazy day.... (Saturday)

Woke up at 11am today... What a wonderful feeling it is to laze all day.. even though you know that you have brought back work to be done over the holiday... Nah.. not gonna touch it today though.. perhaps I'll start tomorrow...

Finally I finished the "Shopaholic and Sister"... It's a good read.. not a mind boggling one laa for sure.. just a very entertaining one.. That Rebecca Bloomwood really reminds me of Mrs. Wacko.. Had a really good laugh laaa.. It was really a good way to spend a lazy afternoon...

Went to see "Meet the Fockers" with a Ben Stiller's die-hard fan *winks*. I have to admit that as much as I hate all of his "I'm-really-funny-NOT...!" movies.. this one was really really funny.. (rolling2 punya funny..). I laughed so hard that my stomach hurts... Love the baby kid sooo much.. He's the best actor I've ever seen... "Asssssss-hoooooooooleeeee" "Assssssss-hoooooooleeeeee" funnnn-nyyyyyy... For those of you that don't understand what I'm babbling about.. go watch the movie and laugh your heart out... (caution: make sure you're not munching on popcorns during the funny scenes or you'll end up chocking on it)

Tomorrow's agenda (eh.. today.. it's already Sunday)

Planning to catch "The Bridget Jone's Diary : The Edge of Reasons".. Ahhhh... so looking forward to it..

Binx: another unproductive raya in the city...

Correction: My movie partner is not Stiller's die hard fan.. hahahaha.. But you sure did fool me there buddy.. *winks*.. But all in all... good movie.. good company..
