Dreaming on a star...

It has been over a month since my last post.. Gosh, I am seriously neglecting this blog eh...

From now onwards, I shall try to update this blog of mine once a week...

First, updates on what had happened since I last update the blog:

1.  Noah has started walking!
This boy of mine is now running around the house dengan lincahnya.  His current obsession is climbing up tables and stand on them with a shout of "hooray!" (a victory shout laa kononya tu).  He is also into opening drawers and kitchen cabinets and 'kemaskan' the drawers and cabinets... Habis berselerak my kitchen if we were to let him have a got at it.... Nevertheless, it is such a joy watching him accomplishing each and every milestones... He is definitely growing up fast!

2.  We have to get a new maid!
We went to renew the maid's fomema earlier this month only to find out that she is no longer fit to work for us.  Hence, we have to send her back by mid of April.  I was really down since I found out the news.  My head was spinning thinking about how to get a replacement for bibik.  The cost of getting a maid now is around RM6.5k and the chances of getting one soon is highly impossible.

I was seriously considering resigning and become a full time SAHM or WAHM... I was cracking my head on things that I can do to generate income while I look after my kid at home.  Public Mutual, sell things online, baking, etc. came across my mind.. However, nothing solid came out of it.

Luckily a friend is able to assist and supply a maid to us (insyaallah) at a very minimal cost.  We are now praying that the new maid will be able to arrive in time for the current bibik's departure.  If not, I will have to find a temporary solution for someone to take care of Noah...

3.  Business Idea

The above incident had sparked an interest for me to pursue something that has been at the back of my mind for quite some time now...  However, I still need to do some market research on the idea and analyse the risk before I embark on it fully.  It will be great if I can get the business rolling this year and should it be a hit, I might be able to turn into a SAHM soon!  Do pray for me ya...

4.  A friend in need

A friend found out that her husband was cheating on her.  What was worse was the fact that she found out about it when she was 1 month pregnant with his child.  It was really sad to see her putting up a happy face for the sake of her children (her baby is now 8 months old and her daughter is 3 year old).  Her husband is currently living with the woman in KL, while she sacrificed her career to go stay with her in-laws in Labuan.  Not only is he living with a woman, who is not his legal wife, he is also drinking and taking drugs!

Why do men cheat?  Why can't they think of their family (wife and kids) and even Allah when they are in this kind of situation?  They are sellfish aren't they?  To be only thinking about THEIR satisfaction, THEIR sex needs, THEIR happiness.  They didn't think about their wife's feelings and their kids' future.

My only hope is that to see the husband being put behind bars.  We are now trying to help the friend to gather evidence strong enough for her to get the custody of her 2 children.  May Allah give her strength to move forward with her life and be the strong pillar for her kids to lean on.  Insyaallah.

binx: happy holidays!
