He spent the first half of his day being under house arrest today. He accidentally left his house keys in my car the night before and I just drove off to work with it this morning.
Luckily we just went grocery shopping the night before. Hence, he doesn't really need to go out to look for food. Plus, there were the leftover gulai ayam masak lemak cili api from last night's dinner in the fridge.
It was a coincidence that I had to attend a meeting at 3 p.m. at the consultant's office, which was just 5 minutes drive from home. So, I made a pit stop to drop off the key to him before the meeting - just in case he has the urge to smoke (yea.. I have a strict rule of no smoking in the house).
After the meeting ended (2.5 hour later), I gave him a call in order to let him know that I was on my way to pick him up to run some errands. The phone rang non-stop for 3 times!
Tertido ke pakcik nieh?
Ke tengah dalam toilet?
I parked the car and went up to check up on him and found him sitting outside the apartment, clad in his worn-off t-shirt and favourite kain pelikat, with a very weird smile plastered on his face...
"Why didn't you answer my call?"
"Huh? You called ke?"
I went to open the door only to find it locked.
"Laaaaaaaaaaa........ you locked yourself out ke?"
*rotflol*
hahahahahahahahahaha... (gelak sampai klua air mata)
Apparently he had gone out for a smoke about 30 minutes after I left and managed to locked himself out. The best part was that he had reheated the food and cooked some rice for lunch. He tought he would have a ciggie while waiting for the rice to cook. Last-last tengok nasi yang tunggu dia (for 2 hours) kat dalam rumah...
Kesian kat dia kan....
