What's in a name?
That which we call a rose...
By any other name would smell as sweet...
When people are attached, they tend to strip off their given name for pet names. I.e. sayang, baby, honey, darling, sweetie and etc. It's like a common practice to refer to each other with these terms of endearment.
Maybe it's just me, but I just can't seemed to fathomed the fact that some couples actually call each other "mummy-daddy" or ever "mama-papa" when they are still in the dating stage - note: WITHOUT kids... It's just so 'urghhhh'... Well that's just my take on it lar... I am sooo boring.. Yeah I know... hehehe...
What about you? Do indulge me on the terms of endearment YOU use to call your partner and vice versa...

Last time, my daughter called my hubby "Abang"...instead of papa! She followed the way her mama did!Huhu...

binxie, tau tak i used to kutuk2 those ppl who call each other endearments yg bunyik mcm so menggelikan..(tapi kalo mama-papa without kids tu pelik la kan)..
now that i have a kid, tetiba mcm sedap pulak lidah nie nak panggil the husband 'Daddy'..(which is why i decided not to use Mama-Papa for my kid so that there's no confusion in what i call my parents).. haha.. but anywayyy, i hardly call Aqila by her given name because my term of endearment for her is 'Baby Mami'...corny huh? haha..tu lah padan muka..gelak2 kan org lagi..now i've turned into one of THEM! *LOL*
