I'm in the mood to kill......

Today was just not my day... Everything went wrong from the moment I woke up. Everything and everyone just pisses me off...

Hence, I have with me right now a list of people that I would love to kill.....

  • Mrs. R for making me do stupid data entry for the sake of maintaining a manual and automated tax system in the midst of a busy closing period. Data entry a clerk pun boleh buat.. why need to bug me with it?
  • The 'Lembaga' people that I have to liase with for calling me three times today and rushed me to do my job... When you need something from me, you bug me constantly, but when we need something from you, you just take your own sweet time in getting it done... That is so unfair! And when I delay something, there must be a good reason behind it and I've always called to inform you about the delay. You don't need to drop names to the CEO about it.. You are of a higher rank, for god sake.... Take some responsibilities laa for once. The delay was due to the inefficiencies on your side anyway!!!
  • My young colleague who doesn't know when is the right time to kid around... When you know that it is the time of the month for the group cashflow, don't laa buat lawak buduh. You'll only get killed by doing so... And, a joke is only funny the first time around... Once it is recycled, it just irritates people.
  • The stupid driver that had caused massive traffic along Jalan Ampang this evening. If you can't drive, you might else well take the public transport. It saves you from being cursed mindlessly by irritated drivers who have just had a bad day at work.

  • The pengkit waiter in Alexis, Great Eastern Mall. (S)he kept me waiting for my meal for almost an hour. A meal that I didn't even get to taste. I was so pissed due to the fact that; (a) I was the first one to order, while my other dinner companions were still contemplating on their orders - I was damn hungry after a long day at work; (b) our appetizer actually arrived after the main courses (my friends', not mine) came AND we had to remind them of our appetizer; (c) after calling her/him for 3 times, (s)he kept telling me that it will only be another 10 minutes, and no 'sorry for the delay' were given at that time. I decided to cancel on my spring chicken dish after all my friends had polished off their food. I am never going to set foot in the restaurant ever again for the poor service given. Perhaps, the next time I feel like having dinner at Alexis, I'll go to the Bangsar's outlet pulak.
  • My Lil Sis's stupid housemate for treating her like shit.... I've warn my sis about the housemate (who used to be my schoolmate back in secondary school) and her attitude problem. However, due to unavoidable circumstances they ended up being housemates. My sis, being a soft-hearted person, were bullied by the psycho girl into doing her final project for her.. Imagine yourself staying up late doing something for a friend, because she promised to help you out with your assignment, and that person comes into your room to give more instructions and took a pillow from your bed and dozed off... What the f**k laa kan... Plus she took some reference from Lil Sis's portfolio to be inserted in her project paper - without permission. And today she pulled another stunt that had caused my sis to miss out on a great opportunity to have her privacy at last. If I were there in Perth, I would have strangled her to death rite now.. Hang on Lil' Sis.. You'll get her off your back soon ok..

An encounter with the past....

Tonight I've met up with my 3 long-long best buddies after 14 years.. We were primary school best buddies... Yeah, you've got it right, PRIMARY school buddies.. *lol*

We haven't meet each other since we left primary schools, with the exceptional for the 3 that were in the same secondary school and the occasional bumping into each other at shopping mall (which happens once in a blue moon).

After 14 years of silence, all the 5 of us met again, thanks to Friendsters.

It was such a great night. Reminiscing the good old days. Our zaman kegemilangan where we always thought that we were very cool girls that do all the happening stuffs (syiok sendiri aje actually). We had a great laughs, revisiting our glory days as young and carefree teenagers...

I am so surprised that I could not remember most of the details of my primary school years. What I do remember was how close we were and the things that we do together. However, the details were very vague or were actually washed out from my memory bank. Thanks to Alia, who has super duper memory, tonight my tired brain was given a jump-start and can actually recall some of the stupid, crazy and fun moments we've shared for almost 3 years.

The only thing that neither one of us can remember was how did the 5 of us became friends, best friends. If you were to see us back then, or even now, all of us are TOTALLY different. There was:-

- the snobbish-smart-prefect-with-geeky-glasses,

- the short-small-naughty-talker-with-geeky-glasses,

- the small-sensitive-cat-lover, the timid-hardly-speaks-only-laugh-girl; and

- yours truly : the short-small-follower-with-crazy-and-stupid-remarks.

Girls, it was indeed a great night. Thanks for conjuring the memories of our happy moments together. Even though 14 years has passed, the friendship that we had back then didn't die. Hope that it will continue for as long as we can hold on to it. Love ya lots!! *muahs*

Graduation (Friends Forever)

And so we talked all night about the rest of our lives
Where we're gonna be when we turn 25
I keep thinking times will never change
Keep on thinking things will always be the same
But when we leave this year we won't be coming back
No more hanging out cause we're on a different track
And if you got something that you need to say
You better say it right now cause you don't have another day
Cause we're moving on and we can't slow down
These memories are playing like a film without sound
And i keep thinking of that night in june
I didn't know much of love
But it came too soon and there was me and you
And then we got real blue
Stay at home talking on the telephone
We'd get so excited, we'd get so scared
Laughing at our selves thinking life's not fair
And this is how it feels

As we go on, we remember
All the times we had together
And as our lives change, come whatever
We will still be, friends forever

So if we get the big jobs and we make the big money
When we look back now, will our jokes still be funny?
Will we still remember everything we learned in school?
Still be trying to break every single rule
Will little brainy bobby be the stockbroker man?
Can heather find a job that won't interfere with her tan?
I keep, i keep thinking that it's not goodbye
Keep on thinking it's a time to fly
And this is how it feels

Will we think about tomorrow like we think about now?
Can we survive it out there? can we make it somehow?
I guess i thought that this would never end
And suddenly it's like we're women and men
Will the past be a shadow that will follow us round?
Will these memories fade when i leave this town
I keep, i keep thinking that it's not goodbye
Keep on thinking it's a time to fly

Confession of a Klutz

7.45 am

Left the house for the office..
dum dee dum..
I'm going to be early again today...

8.00 am

Reached the Masjid Negara roundabout (3/4 of the journey)...
I am soooo gonna be early today..
Hmmm.. which shoe shall I wear today? The flat or the heeled mules?
Maybe the heeled ones laa kut coz it has been quite some time since I've last worn those...
Reached at the back of the co-pilot's seat (I keep all my shoes in the car)...
Arrggghhh....!!!!!!!
Looked back...
Nuthing...!
No shoes...!!!!!

Looked down at my feet... I'm wearing my driving flip-flop (selipar)...
No.. nooo.. noooooooooooo

8.05 am

Dialed Mrs. Wacko's number -

Binx: U......... U tau tak kedai mana yg jual kasut yg bukak at this time?
Mrs. W: Huh?.. errrmmm... Takde laa U... Why larr?
Binx: Arrgghhh... I left my shoes at home!
Binx: I'm wearing my selipar jek nieh.. How laa U...?
Binx: 7-E jual kasut tak ek?
Mrs. W: *lol* If I have an extra pair in my car pun.. U won't fit in it kan..
Binx: Ha ah.. *sob*
Binx: It's ok laa U.. I'll figure something out...

8.15 am

Arrived at the parking lot. It's quite a distance from the place that I parked to the office building... How am I going to pull this off?

I kept my cool.... Tried to loosen the pants a bit so that it'll cover most part of my flip-flop covered feet. The best part of the whole chaos was that the flip-flop actually matches my outfit (purple shirt, purple tudung and.... purple flip-flop!!).. *lol*.. I never wear matching shoes. However, of all the days, today my selipar matches my outfit perfectly.

8.17 am

After paying the kakak, as fast as the speeding bullet, I 'flew' towards the building. Luckily the crowd at the famous gerai was not as packed as usual. Maybe because it was still too early for the normal crowd... phewh!

8.20 am

Entered the lift.. Argghh.. ramai laa pulak..
Went in to the back of the lift..
One guy actually stared at my feet, tak cover langsung..
Keep it cool, girl.. Keep it cool..
Nasib baik 5 floors up aje..

"Ting" - rushed out of the lift...

8.21 am

"beep" - swiped in i/d tag
Entered the department and was relieved to see that most of the staffs still haven't come in yet... This is good because if otherwise, I would have to parade my 'beautiful' flip-flop in front of the entire department before reaching my cubicle at the end of the office...

And at the cubicle was where I spent the rest of my day, hiding my purple colored flip-flop under the table.....

binx: bangs head on the table... why me...?

A meme again......!

Oh no... not another one..... (hahaha.. I'm soo gonna get you for this)

However, for the sake of doing it.. here goes...

the i'm-holier-than-thou blogger's baton

THE LAST BLOG I READ WAS:

my darling sis's

I THINK MY BLOG IS WAY BETTER THAN THAT BLOG ABOVE BECAUSE:

errrrr.... better? because it is brighter?
that's the only reason that i could think of cause she definately writes better than me...
no.. no.. she writes, i ramble...

IMHO THE BEST ENTRY I HAVE EVER BLOGGED IS:

i wouldn't say that it's the best.. but my favs would be...
- the one where my fav shoe got stuck in a hole (oh i'm such a drama queen *lol* )
- the one about my father

THE FIVE BLOGS I READ THAT MAY BE BETTER THAN MINE ARE:

1) Pok Ku's - love the way he explains the 'terengganu-speak' in his special Pok Ku's way
2) Teek's - love her antics and ticklish stories.. plus I bet she loves this promo of her blog *winks*
3) Norzu's - for reasons stated in the 1st Q...
4) Darekampo's - he's really really good...
5) Baine's - look at the number of comments this guy received per blog post... need i say more?

I KNOW MY READERS ARE ADDICTED TO MY BLOG BECAUSE:

I have 'readers' meh? errrrmmm...
B'coz I'm the Rhumba Queen....!! *winks*

And now I'm passing the baton to the following people that I think fit to perform this "I'm-Holier-Than-Thou Blogger's Baton" meme on their blog...

1) Teek (b'coz she's a good sport)
2) Baine (b'coz he once passed a meme to me.. )
3) MarinaDelRey (b'coz i know she loves doing one of these things)

binx: am soo not good at 'masuk bakul angkat sendiri' gig laaa...

Melman, Marty, Alex and Gloria - characters frm Madagascar, the movie

Oh yes.. I've watched Madagascar last Saturday with Mrs. Wacko. Since her husband was off in the middle of the Terengganu ocean, it was the perfect opportunity for a girl's day out. Hence, off we went to the Summit, USJ (well, the rest of the cinemas were fully booked...). As jinjang as the place could be, the cinema was ok laa.. plus the crowd was a fun one too.

I'm not gonna rave about the movie in this post and spoil it for those who haven't watch it. However, I just wanna say that that King Jullian, the self-proclaimed king of the Lemurs, is indeed the funniest king I've ever seen. He actually reminds me of someone... Who else, if it's none other than my movie date herself... Mrs. Wacko.. *lol* (jgn marah aaa.. nanti kena jual *winks*) Everything about him, well not everything laaa, reminds me of my wacko friend. The way he talks, the way he walks, the way he thinks.. and the way he look?... hahahaha...

It was an enjoyable movie that tickles you from the very beginning to the very end. The karate penguins adds up to the fun too. I would recommend this movie for those who have had a hard week at work and need a good belly-laugh... *two thumbs up*

Are You Serious?!!!

I was distracted by this this morning... What were they thinking? Supplying syringes and condoms to drug addicts for free to reduce the number of HIV patients?

No doubt the effort will help to curb the number of HIV positive druggies.. However, don't you think that the so-called philanthropic government will be encouraging those druggies to continue with their 'poking' activities freely? You are trying to curb one illness by encouraging more people to take up drugs and free sex due to the free 'gifts' by the kind government. Hah! Smart.. smart people...

I am surprised that the idea was given a green light by those well-dressed people in the Parlimen. They should really take a deeper look at the effect of the action...

Hence, if they still carry out the plan, come October, we - the rakyat will be contributing our hard earned salary to the 'charity' drive organised by the government in encouraging the druggies to achieve their ecstasy in a safe manner. Does this news makes you jump with joy and feel like running to the IRB to declare and pay your tax?

What happened?

That was the question asked by everyone today..

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Actually, I don't know what happened to me. I was laughing, joking, bitching, eating well last night. However, when I was about to have my beauty sleep, I felt a sudden pain on my right wrist. Sakit giler.. Hence, I reached for the ever handy Minyak Mestika and proceeded to massage the hand.

Woke up this morning with a throbbing wrist. I can't even bend my right palm without feeling the excruciating pain... With the vision of the amount of files on my table in the office, plus the fact that my account is due out today, I tried to ignore the pain and dressed myself for work...

8.30 a.m. : beep (swipe i/d tag) and tried to push open the glass door.. ouwch! that hurts.. ignore pain.. ignore pain...

9.00 a.m. : looking for docs and lifted the heavy file.. ouwch! that really hurts.. reach for the minyak and massage hand...

11.45 a.m. : tried to open the tab of the toilet sink... ouwch! it still hurts...

2.00 p.m. : tried to write something... ouwch! continued typing away on the keyboard... ouwch! ouwch! ouwch!

2.45 p.m. : shout out to my online contacts.. "I'm in pain!!!"

3.00 p.m. : succumbed to the pain and went down to the clinic... "Doc, my right wrist hurts!"

3.45 p.m. : walked out of the clinic with a bandaged right wrist...

What happened?

1) someone mentioned RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury).. and after reading all about it here.. yeah I can't help but to think that just might be it..

2) another person said that it might have been all the bitching around last night.. kena tulah laa kut.. *lol*

3) someone else said that it might have been the "liat" lamb at HRC.. all the struggle to cut the meat had caused the strained muscle.. *double lol*

Oh well, I shall stop here for now.. Need to rest the hand.. Still have to go to work tomorrow.. Now I really wish that I've been born a leftie... Try typing with only your left hand and see how much work you can complete in a day...

binx: hand hurts.. cannot work.. can ah?
